For the first time, this simultaneous opening will offer visitors the opportunity to explorethe country’s institutions and history. At the heart of the visit is the collection of portraits of Luxembourg’s Grand Dukes and Grand Duchesses.
The tour will begin at the Chamber of Deputies, where the public will be able to explore the plenary chamber and view a selection of portraits of Luxembourg’s sovereigns. The tour will then proceed via the passageway linking the two institutions to the Grand Ducal Palace, the official workplace of the Head of State since 1895.
At the Palace, the tour will take visitors through several iconic rooms, including the ”Salon des Rois”, the “Salon jaune”, the “Salle des Fêtes” and the Gallery of Honour. The tour will also offer the chance to view several official portraits of the Grand Ducal Family, including works commissioned in 2025 to mark the accession of Grand Duke Guillaume.
