Courtesy visit of the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess: The Netherlands

As part of the courtesy visits following the Accession to the Throne, Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess, accompanied by Mr Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, will be received in The Hague on Wednesday, 19 November, by Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

The programme includes a meeting with Their Majesties at Huis ten Bosch Palace, followed by a meeting between the Grand Duke and Prime Minister Dick Schoof, after which the Grand Duke will visit the States General to meet the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Representatives.

The visit will conclude with a luncheon of the Grand Ducal Couple with Their Majesties at Noordeinde Palace.
