Biography
Princess Alexandra Joséphine Teresa Charlotte Marie Wilhelmine, Princess of Luxembourg, Princess of Nassau and Bourbon-Parma, was born at the Maternité Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg on February 16, 1991.
She is the fourth child and only daughter of Their Royal Highnesses The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg.
Her brothers are:
- Prince Guillaume, the Crown Prince (born in 1981),
- Prince Félix (born in 1984),
- Prince Louis (born in 1986),
- and Prince Sébastien (born in 1992).
In 2009, Princess Alexandra received the the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau '.
In December 2022, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess announced the engagement of Princess Alexandra to Mr Nicolas Bagory. The wedding was celebrated on 29 April 2023 at Saint Trophyme church in Bormes-les-Mimosas.
Princess Alexandra and Mr Nicolas Bagory are the parents of a daughter, Victoire, born on 14th May 2024 in Paris.
Education
Princess Alexandra attended primary school in Angelsberg (Luxembourg) and then the Lycée Vauban in Luxembourg where she completed her secondary education, obtaining her Baccalaureate in Arts and Literature (with honours) in 2009.
The Princess pursued her university studies abroad. After studying psychology and social sciences in the United States, the Princess continued her studies in Paris where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, with a focus on ethics and anthropology. H.R.H. Princess Alexandra graduated from Trinity College in Dublin. In 2017, she was awarded a Master's degree in Interfaith Studies from the Irish School of Ecumenics with a specialisation in conflict resolution.

With a keen interest in politics and religious studies, the Princess gained some experience in journalism during her stay in the Middle East and subsequently in international relations through an internship at the Security Council of the United Nations in New York, when Luxembourg was a non-permanent member.
The Princess is a polyglot and is fluent in Luxembourgish, French, English and Spanish. She also has a good knowledge of German and Italian.
Official activities and commitments
Whenever her schedule allows it, Princess Alexandra takes part in the activities of the Grand Ducal Family and attends ceremonies or official activities such as the National Day or the State visit to Japan in November 2017.
The Princess worked as a volunteer to help refugees. She holds the High Patronage of the Lëtzebuerger Déiereschutzliga (Luxembourg animal protection league) as well as the Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung Foundation (Luxembourg association of the blind).

Leisure activities and personal interests
The Princess loves to explore new cultures and languages through literature and travel. She is very athletic and divides her time between tennis, downhill skiing, and water-skiing. She has practiced dancing and gymnastics for a long time.
