The Hereditary Grand Duke to receive the Bronze Wolf Scout award

The World Organization of the Scout Movement has announced the awarding of the Bronze Wolf Award, the highest Scout distinction, to H.R.H. the Hereditary Grand Duke for his exceptional commitment to the movement in Luxembourg and globally.

Created in 1935, the World Scout Committee's prestigious award has been presented to less than 400 recipients so far.

The Prince, Chief Scout of Luxembourg, joins this list of “Extraordinary Scouts”, in the footsteps of his grandfather, Grand Duke Jean, who was awarded in 1995.

The Prince is very moved by this announcement and thanks the Scouts for the honour bestowed on him. The award ceremony will take place later this year.
